Liz Williams
Liz is a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs. With specialist training and experience in cognitive behavioural approaches, mental health in primary care, in NHS Talking Therapies and trauma-informed care, Liz plays a key role in assessing mental health concerns, developing tailored care plans, and connecting patients with appropriate therapies or specialist services. Her approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based practice, ensuring that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported.
"I want patients to feel safe, listened to, and understood. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgemental space where people feel heard and supported. My aim is to help each patient take positive steps towards better mental health and overall wellbeing."
Outside of clinical work, Liz is passionate about mental health education and works to reduce stigma by promoting open conversations about emotional wellbeing.
